Joh Mann is a writer, theatre director, and teacher living in southern Oklahoma, who lives with her husband, Ricky, and her fur babies, Gunnie, Booboo Kitty, Willow, and Mouse. She has two adult sons and several ADORABLE grandchildren who live nearby. Joh has directed many theatre productions for local community theatre over the past thirty-five years, and has written a screenplay, ten plays (all successfully produced), and, most recently, a romance novel.
Joh, with her friend, Leah, also leads a writer's group, "Second Saturday Scribes."
"Grace and Grit" is her first sweet romance book, co-written with her longtime
friend, Leah J. Simmons.

Leah J. Simmons is a 25-year newspaper journalist, lifestyles editor, and columnist from Ardmore, Oklahoma. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/News Communication from The University of Oklahoma. During her time at The Ardmoreite newspaper, she earned numerous writing, editing, and design awards, including the Governor’s Arts Award in 2008 for significant contribution to the arts in Oklahoma. With her writing partner, Joh Mann, she leads the Second Saturday Scribes writing group in Ardmore. She is a member of the Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc., and Ardmore Little Theatre, where she earned the Lifetime Achievement Award. A bonus mom of three, nana of 11, and great-nana of three, she lives in Ardmore with her Corgi, Symon Snow Simmoms.
